IEA

The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) is a program created to test rider skills, without having the benefit of a horse being prepared for the rider. Rider approach their show ring experience in leveled divisions and “draw a name out of a hat” to choose what horse they will ride!

This is an incredible program to grow any rider and is done without the expectation of horse ownership.

Bein Performance Horses (BPH) host’s the IEA team, the Arizona Reining Equestrian Team (ARET). This allows many riders to try the sport of Reining, brings new riders to the western discipline, and encourages sportsmanship and camaraderie.

ARET boasts 3 consecutive years of being Zone or Regional champion Middle School team, and 2 years of being the Champion High School team in the last 5 years! Our riders are required to be “full time riders” taking a minimum of 4 private lessons per month, in addition to team Reining and Horsemanship lessons.

We have made a huge effort to make showing IEA as cost effective as possible. Give us a call and we would love to talk with you!
